Position Summary/Objective:
The Order Entry Specialist is responsible for reviewing and updating data records to ensure order accuracy.
Essential Functions:
· Perform data entry using word processing, spreadsheet, and database systems
· Regularly review and update data records to ensure accuracy; remove unnecessary data and archive records
· Review discrepancies in data; advise supervisor of issues related to data and perform data verification routines in accordance with company procedures
· Coordinate with other departments to ensure convenient access to data/records and to implement standardized data entry/organization practices across the company
· Run reports and create visual reviews of data using spreadsheet and presentation software
· Create data directories for file and report generation retrieval purposes
· Perform routine maintenance tasks related to hardware/software or files technical assistance requests as necessary
· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
· 2+ years’ experience in data entry/administrative roles
· Strong MS Office Skills, including Excel
· Strong knowledge of data entry/organization best practices
· Experience with SyteLine Resource Planning System a plus
· Keen attention to detail
· Strong time management skills
· Ability to balance thoroughness with effective presentation techniques
· Familiarity with the construction industry.
Physical Demands:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position. Office environment. Fast-paced environment with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Travel:
Travel required for this position (<10%)
