Full Time

The position has been established for the purpose of preparation and execution of the Offshore Projects of Asso Group. As Project Engineer you will be responsible for the technical delivery of the project you will be allocated to in accordance with client requirements and contract agreements. The candidate will participate also the execution phase of the projects onboard our vessels as needed, ensuring works are delivered according to approved documentation and company objectives. It is required to combine technical knowledge and common sense in order to contribute to a successful project and achieve Asso.subsea goals.

Responsibilities

  • Being responsible for the engineering, preparation and execution of the project;
  • Develop project documentation in compliance with Employer’s requirements, RQHSE standards and contract agreements such as:
    • Method statements etc
  • Interdepartmental liaison;
  • Provide all required information to other departments to produce the necessary project documentation/analysis such as:
    • Cable Installation Analysis, etc
    • Geotechnical docs (Burial assessment study, etc.)
  • Review engineering studies and documentation prepared from other departments according to project objectives;
  • Ensure effective communication within the project team;
  • Participate and lead accordingly internal engineering meetings;
  • Liaison with client;
  • Liaison with subcontractors and manage the technical aspects ensuring technical delivery of their SoW according to the requirements;
  • Maintain daily diary and action trackers for the effective monitoring of the project progress;
  • Participation in meetings with the Client remotely and face-to-face if required;
  • Adapt information and comments derived from internal and client meetings, and accordingly study, review and prepare/update project documentation;
  • Join offshore team for the project execution as required
  • When in offshore, among others:
    • Receive and review of logbook notes and comments;
    • Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR);
    • Participate in Vessel onboard meetings;
    • Record and prepare of Minutes of Meetings notes;
    • Close communication with Client Representatives;
    • Project monitoring on board the vessel as per schedules;
    • Keep track of progress of the project ensuring deadlines are met;
    • Take of ad hoc needs;
    • Daily communication with office project team;
    • Constant communication with Offshore Manager & Supervisors;
    • Constant communication with HSE advisor;
    • Close cooperation with onboard survey team;
    • Review survey data and project results on daily basis;
    • Support in Vessel HSE reports with technical information;
    • Preparation of Management Of Change (MOC);
    • Preparation of Field Reports;
    • Prepare and finalize As-built documentation;
    • Ensure that all project documentation is properly filled in company’s internal documentation management system;
    • Adhere to all compliance and auditing requirements for the conduct of ethical and transparent operations including the compliance to all ASSO Group policies, guidelines and procedures;
    • Comply with Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures and compliance with all audits and inspections;

Requirements

Education & Training

  • A higher university degree in Engineering;
  • Clear and effective oral and written communication skills in English language;
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Project Scheduling and CAD software required;
  • Additional working knowledge of other foreign languages, (e.g. Italian, German, French etc.) are not prerequisite but are to be considered as extra skills;
  • Additional working knowledge of further engineering softwares such as Orcaflex, GIS are not prerequisite but are to be considered as extra skills;

Experience

  • 1-3 years related engineering experience;
