We are looking for a hardworking individual with a positive, can-do attitude. The following position is currently available: Event Producer/Associate Account Executive in Expo and Events. This is a project leadership position with a great opportunity for growth in an exciting field and company. The perfect fit will be a dynamic, creative and experienced event professional that is able to lead various projects relating to producing a variety of events. Types of events could include: expositions, trade shows, corporate events, parties & galas, and meetings. The successful applicant will have relevant industry experience, post-secondary education, extraordinary customer service skills, excellent organizational and communication skills and a demonstrated level of creativity. Responsibilities:
- Maintain a creative, fun, solution-oriented and positive approach to all projects
- Manage the contract fulfillment stages of all event activities and personnel
- Distribute and communicate event information clearly to multiple departments
- Calculate and propose budgets & bids for planned events
- Research and identify successful event opportunities
- Maintain an event & account pipeline
- Manage project deadlines and product fulfillment milestones within the complete event lifecycle
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
- Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments and create opportunity for new event acquisitions
- Manage, propose and contribute to the creation of event proposal materials.
- Lead multiple projects simultaneously
- Direct run of show on event days and all supporting responsibilities
- Lead show standards and maintain quality customer service under pressure
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in event planning, event sales, account management or other related fields
- Strong project and contract managing skills
- Ability to work well within and/or lead a team setting
- Familiarity with CRM and project management platforms
- Ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships
- Deadline and detail-oriented
