Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a K-12 school located in Hampden, ME. This position is for the 2026-2027 school year and involves an on-site role providing direct services to a diverse student caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school policies and state regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children in a K-12 educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work on-site full time during school hours.
