About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Outbound Operations to oversee outbound warehouse activities at a high-volume distribution center in Miami, FL. This role is responsible for leading order picking, packing, and shipping operations to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately, efficiently, and on time.This is a great opportunity for a results-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving productivity, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Outbound Operations Management

  • Oversee daily picking, packing, and shipping operations
  • Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and shipped within service level agreements
  • Manage order prioritization and workflow to meet deadlines
  • Coordinate with transportation providers and internal teams to ensure efficient shipping



Order Fulfillment

  • Ensure accurate picking and packing through established processes and quality controls
  • Implement best practices to reduce errors, damages, and delays
  • Monitor order throughput and workflow efficiency



Shipping & Logistics Coordination

  • Oversee shipment preparation, labeling, and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with carrier and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate outbound schedules with carriers and logistics partners



Quality Control & Accuracy

  • Implement and oversee quality control processes across fulfillment and shipping
  • Conduct audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards
  • Monitor error trends and identify root causes
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions
  • Ensure damaged or incorrect inventory is properly documented and escalated



Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and warehouse associates
  • Set productivity targets and monitor team performance
  • Drive engagement, accountability, and a culture of safety



Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve fulfillment efficiency and reduce bottlenecks
  • Implement improvements in picking, packing, and shipping workflows
  • Collaborate with inbound operations for seamless coordination



Reporting & Metrics

  • Track KPIs including order accuracy, on-time shipments, and productivity
  • Provide reporting and insights to distribution center leadership



Qualifications

Experience

  • 5+ years of warehouse or distribution center operations experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience managing teams
  • Strong experience with order fulfillment, shipping, and WMS systems



Skills

  • Strong leadership and operational management skills
  • Expertise in order fulfillment and shipping operations
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage high-volume operations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
