Cost Accountant
Location: Onsite in Fort Worth, TX 76131
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $75-$85K/yr. (+- based on experience)

CornerStone Professional Placement is partnering with a growing manufacturer in the Fort Worth, TX area in their search for a Cost Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in analyzing manufacturing costs, preparing cost reports, and delivering accurate financial insights that support business decision-making. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys working closely with cross-functional teams.

What You’ll Actually Do as the Cost Accountant:
- Maintain standard costs, inventory valuation, and cost models
- Prepare cost and variance analysis reports
- Support month-end close activities
- Monitor production costs and identify improvement opportunities
- Track inventory activity, cycle counts, and variances
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and margin analysis
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and US GAAP
What You’ll Need to Succeed as the Cost Accountant:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (CPA/CMA a plus)
- 5+ years of cost accounting experience, including 3+ years in manufacturing
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory, and variance analysis
- Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience preferred (D365 a plus)
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
