AppleTree Staffing is seeking a reliable and skilled Machine Operator to join our client’s team!
This is a great opportunity for someone with 1–2 years of hands-on manufacturing or metal fabrication experience who’s ready to grow, learn, and be part of a fast-paced production environment. If you enjoy working with machinery, measuring tools, and quality checks, this role will keep you busy and building your skill set every day.
Duties
- Operate and monitor metal fabrication machinery such as cutters, press machines, and forming equipment
- Load raw materials, stage parts, and ensure machines are running safely and efficiently
- Perform basic adjustments and machine setups
- Inspect parts using calipers, tape measures, and gauges to maintain quality standards
- Read and follow work orders, production specs, and job travelers
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety protocols
- Assist with general production tasks as needed to keep workflow moving
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of machine operation, metal fabrication, or manufacturing experience
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools and measuring tools
- Ability to read simple blueprints or production diagrams
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new processes
- Team player attitude and dependable work habits
