Restaurant Manager
Job Summary:
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the restaurant, including staffing, hospitality, food and beverage preparation, and financial performance. The manager must have a strong understanding of the restaurant industry and be able to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and manage staff to ensure excellent customer service
- Develop and implement systems to ensure consistent food and beverage quality
- Create and manage budgets, including forecasting and financial reporting
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment for staff and customers
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and local community
- Ensure compliance with all state and local health and safety regulations
- Implement marketing and promotional strategies to increase sales and attract new customers
- Maintain and build hospitality culture
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage budgets and financial reports
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in hospitality management or related field is preferred.
