Payroll Operations Support Specialist
Summary:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Payroll Operations Support Specialist who will support our clients payroll operations by managing employee inquiries, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with various administrative and compliance-related tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable handling multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Duluth, GA 30096
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $25.00/hour

Responsibilities & Day-to-Day Tasks:

Respond to employee and location inquiries via phone, email, and case management systems

Identify requestor needs and provide accurate guidance or resolution

Monitor and track communications (email inboxes, phone logs, case systems)

Share feature requests and workarounds with team members
-
Stay current on system functionalities and share updates with the team

Collect and communicate customer feedback to help close operational gaps

Handle various types of Verification of Employment (VOE) requests
-
Manage unclaimed property responses and maintain related databases
-
Assist in the payroll print room with packaging and delivery tracking of live payroll products

Address payroll delivery issues urgently via case, email, or phone

Manage and distribute physical mail including returned checks, VOEs, tax documents, and overpayment checks

Serve as backup to the Garnishment Specialist by uploading garnishment paperwork to the ADP portal

Complete ad-hoc reporting and research tasks related to payroll projects

Fulfill legal documentation requests via cases and emails

Collaborate with the HR Solution Center to resolve cross-departmental employee inquiries

Familiarity with payroll systems and case management tools is a plus

Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
