I. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
A. Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery.
B. Install, setup, and make repairs of all production machinery components and sub-components including high-pressure steam, water, air, hydraulic, gas lines, piping and tubing. Diagnose problems, disassemble, determine extent of repairs, or make repairs and adjustments.
C. Perform routine preventive maintenance on all production machinery as assigned by supervisor.
II. SECONDARY FUNCTIONS
A. Install general facilities lighting. When tested & qualified, install electrical components and wiring.
B. Assist with other general machine repairs.
C. Rebuild machinery sub-components.
D. Repair and maintain facility, building structure and office structure as necessary
E. Perform welding, plumbing, carpentry and other operations as required.
F. Assist Production Department as necessary with approval from the maintenance supervisor and production supervisor
G. All other duties as assigned.
III. QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 4 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing facility.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Vocational or Technical School preferred
- Industrial electrical and/or electronic control experience is preferred.
IV. REQUIREMENTS
A. Work all necessary overtime.
- Maintain an acceptable level of attendance and punctuality.
- Must be a team player and have good communication skills
** A Maintenance Mechanic is required to use hand tools; hammer, wrench, skill saw, etc. Must climb ladders and all tasks involve walking and standing on concrete floors. **
