About the Role

Central MEP Solutions is hiring an experienced Electrical Project Engineer for a commercial project in Washington, DC. This role is suited for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in managing electrical scopes on large-scale construction projects within a union environment.

You will work closely with project managers, field teams, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Support project management team with planning and execution of electrical systems
Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and vendors
Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications for accuracy
Track project schedules, budgets, and material procurement
Assist with RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Ensure compliance with union regulations and safety standards
Monitor job site progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders

Qualifications

5–10 years of experience in electrical construction or project engineering
Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and installations
Experience working on union job sites required
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Proficiency with project management software and documentation processes
Strong communication and organizational skills
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
