Permit Manager / Permit Expeditor
Location: Arnold, MO | Warren Sign Co.
Warren Sign Co., a leading manufacturer of high-quality signage, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Permit Manager to join our team. This position plays a key role in ensuring our projects run smoothly by securing the proper permits for sign installations across multiple municipalities.
What You’ll Do
- Research and interpret city codes, zoning laws, and permitting requirements.
- Submit permit applications through various municipal portals and track approvals.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with city officials and inspectors.
- Draft professional correspondence and documentation related to permitting.
- Support project teams by providing timely and accurate permitting information.
What We’re Looking For
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel & Word) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong internet research and navigation skills.
- Solid math skills and cartographic ability (including Google Maps).
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with Missouri One Call and Illinois JULIE utility locate systems.
- Previous experience in permitting, construction, sign industry, or a related field.
Compensation
Salary is negotiable based on experience.
