Position Overview:

We are looking for a physician specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology to join our team, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. This role involves providing a range of services in Obstetrics and Gynecology, including diagnosis, treatment, care coordination, preventive measures, and health maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide care for women throughout prenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal stages.

  • Address health issues related to female anatomy.

  • Perform cesarean sections and other surgical interventions as necessary to safeguard patient health and ensure safe deliveries.

  • Conduct various procedures, including but not limited to office biopsies (cervical, endometrial, vaginal, vulvar), colposcopy, IUD placements, hysteroscopy, and both laparoscopic and open surgeries.

  • Review patient histories and conduct physical examinations. Assess, diagnose, and deliver appropriate treatment and care.

  • Advise on suitable management strategies for patients, including preventive health recommendations.

  • Prescribe medications and develop ongoing treatment and disease management plans.

  • Deliver relationship-centered care, considering both psychosocial and physical needs of patients.

  • Gather and document patient information, including medical histories, reports, and examination results. Ensure the maintenance of complete and accurate medical records.

  • Communicate effectively with the clinical team to guarantee comprehensive quality care.

  • Engage in educational programs and meetings for medical staff.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or an equivalent international degree.

  • Completion of a four-year postgraduate medical training from an accredited residency program in the relevant field, along with three years of fellowship training in obstetrics and gynecology.

  • Open to both seasoned professionals and newly trained candidates.

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology.

  • Must hold a current, unrestricted license to practice in New York State or be eligible for licensure.

  • Active registration with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) or eligibility for registration is required.

  • Must have active Medicare/Medicaid enrollment or be eligible to enroll.

  • BLS or ACLS certification is mandatory.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.

  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office is preferred.
