Senior Inventory Accountant

Location: Knoxville, TN (west side)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Inventory Accountant. This role is critical in ensuring accurate inventory records and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with inventory management, and proficiency preferably in QuickBooks Enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and reconcile inventory accounts to ensure accuracy.

  • Monitor inventory transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.

  • Prepare monthly inventory reports and assist with financial statements.

  • Collaborate with operations and purchasing teams to track inventory levels.

  • Support audits and compliance requirements related to inventory.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance OR 5+ years equivalent experience.

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks or other ERP software with a strong understanding of inventory accounting principles.

  • 5+ years of experience in inventory or cost accounting preferred.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Advanced Excel proficiency

  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
