This is temporary for about 3 - 4 months covering a maternity leave, starts ASAP. 100% in person to start with potential hybrid.
Education Specialist will provide academic enrichment support and guidance to survivors of human trafficking and at-risk individuals to overcome barriers, assess needs and determine the best methods in pursuit of their educational goals. The Education Specialist provides assistance in preparation for educational opportunities, matching clients with appropriate academic programs, working with educational institutions, and supporting clients with navigation. This position requires knowledge of institutions of higher learning, financial aid, career advice, the application process as well as academic readiness (study skills, time management, registering for classes, etc.). This role will cultivate and maintain relationships with educators and clients alike.
QUALIFICATIONS
● 2 years of experience providing education navigation and support.
