Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year, serving a K-12 student population in Orono, ME. This role is designed for an experienced professional licensed as an SLP with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or equivalent qualifications, who can provide comprehensive speech and language services within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students across grades K-12
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
- Participate in team meetings and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification/license suitable for school settings
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience servicing school-aged children, ideally across K-12 grades
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to on-site work throughout the school year
