Catering Sales Manager
Department: Catering
Reports To: Director of Sales
Status: Full-Time, Salary $62-67k + bonus
We are seeking a driven and service-focused Catering Sales Manager to sell, plan, and execute banquet and social catering events. This role is responsible for generating revenue, coordinating event details, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences from booking through post-event follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and close banquet food & beverage sales
- Meet or exceed quarterly sales and revenue goals
- Conduct site tours and build strong client relationships
- Plan menus, meeting space, guest rooms, and AV needs
- Prepare contracts, BEOs, group resumes, and invoices
- Coordinate with culinary, banquet, and hotel teams for seamless execution
- Review billing and ensure client satisfaction
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hotel, catering, or banquet sales experience
- Strong knowledge of food & beverage operations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM/Salesforce experience a plus
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
