Nuclear Medicine Technologist | Nuclear Medicine specialty | Burlington, VT, United States
Start date: 04/20/2026 | Duration: 32 weeks | Weekly pay: $2,996–$3,131 per week | Guaranteed hours: not guaranteed | Shift: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., with call approximately 2–3 times per month | Setting: hospital travel assignment

Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures per protocol, including myocardial perfusion, bone, thyroid, and other organ systems as indicated
- Prepare radiopharmaceuticals, perform patient prep, and uphold sterile technique and radiation safety standards
- Operate gamma cameras and related equipment (including SPECT/CT when applicable), ensuring high-quality images and patient safety
- Review orders, obtain patient history, verify patient identity, explain procedures, and monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging
- Process and analyze images, document findings and procedure details in the EMR (Epic), and communicate results with radiologists and referring clinicians
- Maintain equipment QC, inventory, and infection control procedures; participate in on-call rotations and holiday workload as required

Requirements
- Active license/certification: NMTCB or ARRT-NM required
- Certifications: Nuclear Medicine Tech Certification Verification (equivalency) and BLS
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of nuclear medicine experience
- EMR/EHR experience: Epic experience within the past 2 years is required
- Work setting and schedule: Ability to work in a hospital setting; available for on-call duties; travel assignment
- Holiday coverage: Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day)
- Additional notes: Reliable transportation is strongly recommended; local transit may be limited in the assignment area; vehicles should have appropriate winter tires Nov–Apr
