Reach Truck Operator / Inbound Freight Handler $16 to $20/hr

Schedule:
1st Shift: 6:00 am 2:30 pm

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Reach Truck Operators to support inbound freight operations. This role focuses on safely moving products within high racking systems using reach trucks and other powered industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate reach trucks and other motorized equipment safely and efficiently (OSHA certification provided if needed)
• Load and unload trailers, containers, and dock shipments
• Put away and retrieve pallets from high-bay racking systems
• Use RF scanners and WMS to track inventory and pallet locations
• Read and interpret labels, breakdown sheets, and product codes
• Ensure pallets are properly labeled, wrapped, and secured
• Inspect loads for damage and report shortages or discrepancies
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment

Qualifications

• Required: Previous reach truck operating experience
• Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience working with warehouse racking systems
• Familiarity with RF scanners or WMS is a plus
• Ability to lift 5070 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
