Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in an educational setting located in Waterbury, CT. This onsite contract position focuses on supporting students with speech and language challenges through assessment, evaluation, and targeted intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and interpret evaluations and test results to determine appropriate treatment plans or prescribed interventions.
- Develop and implement SLP programs to assist students in developing or regaining speech functioning and help them adjust to disabilities.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, direct staff, and other team members to ensure effective support and integration of services.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid State of Connecticut Speech Pathology license is required.
- 5 to 10 years of experience working in educational environments or with individuals with disabilities within instructional settings.
- Skilled in evaluating speech and language issues to create effective treatment plans.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with educators and support staff.
