Our client seeks a Project Manager to support the planning and execution of cybersecurity-focused initiatives within an enterprise portfolio environment. The role operates within a centralized PMO to drive strategic programs and ensure delivery across scope, schedule, budget, and resources. This position advances project management standards, processes, and governance while managing a portfolio aligned to enterprise security objectives. The Project Manager will oversee all phases of delivery and ensure alignment with organizational standards across cost, quality, communication, risk, and integration.

Rate: $50.00 to $55.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, coordination, and oversight for cross-functional, matrixed project teams.
- Build and maintain strong communication channels with stakeholders, leadership, and team members.
- Lead and facilitate project meetings to ensure alignment, transparency, and effective decision-making.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and reporting in alignment with PMO standards.
- Drive end-to-end project planning, including scope definition, estimation, scheduling, cost control, vendor management, and implementation planning.
- Deliver clear and effective presentations to leadership, sponsors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure impacted business areas are prepared for organizational and process changes associated with project delivery.
- Develop and execute communication, training, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Partner with business and technical teams to ensure successful implementation of new processes, systems, or services.
- Identify, track, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies through resolution.
- Support continuous improvement of PMO processes, standards, and portfolio-level visibility.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Working to proficient knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
- Experience with project scheduling, scope management, cost control, risk management, and delivery oversight.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Preferred: Experience managing cybersecurity or related technical projects.
- Preferred: Experience managing multiple, concurrent projects of moderate to large scale.
- Preferred: Experience managing project financials, including forecasting and budget tracking.
- Preferred: Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred: Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, and MS Project.
- Preferred: Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
