Your Responsibilities
- Assist the surgical team under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Ensure a sterile environment and maintain patient safety throughout procedures.
- Prepare and manage surgical instruments and supplies.
- Provide care to patients across various age groups.
What We’re Looking ForQualifications
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification: Current documentation of certification to practice surgical technology in Oregon.
- Experience: Options for certification include:
- Completion of a surgical technology program in the armed forces or U.S. Public Health Service.
- Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program (CAAHEP or ABHES).
- Two years of surgical technology practice in a hospital or surgical center between January 1, 2014, and January 1, 2017.
- Healthcare Provider BLS: Required.
- Computer Skills: Experience or training in computer applications preferred.
