We are looking to hire a dedicated Logistics Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team.

Location: Miami Lakes, FL 33014

Job purpose

A logistics coordinator will be responsible for collaborating and communicating with freight carriers, customer service, quality and others involved in the shipping and receiving of materials. Is responsible to ensure our operation is cost-effective and runs smoothly and efficiently while also increasing sustainability and customer satisfaction.

Duties and responsibilities

Schedules shipment pick-ups with brokers, freight carriers.
Tracks, traces, and provides status updates on each shipment.
Communicate and negotiate with freight carriers/brokers to ensure we are receiving the best shipping rates.
Make special shipping arrangements, as necessary.
Resolve any shipment issues and/or claims filed.
Keep detailed, organized records of orders and stock.
Analyze data and suggest modifications and improvements accordingly.
Ensure shipping methods comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

Fully Bilingual ( English & Spanish Preferred )
Minimum two years of previous planning experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong multitasking skills.
Strong Math and statistical skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Highly developed attention to detail

Working conditions

The duties of this role are conducted in an office environment. Work somewhat close to other people, may have to share office space with coworkers. Standard 40-hour work week but must be open to working weekends if necessary.

Physical requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
