Part-Time School-Based Physical Therapist (PT)

Responsibilities

Evaluate students' gross motor skills and functional mobility.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' educational needs.

Provide direct physical therapy services in accordance with IEP goals.

Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and families.

Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and Medicaid billing (if applicable).

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute recommendations regarding student services.

Assist with adaptive equipment recommendations and environmental modifications to promote student success.
Qualifications

Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Active Maine Physical Therapist license (or ability to obtain prior to start).

Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred, but not required.

Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
