Logistics Manager | Walker, MI
Salary Range: $87,000 - $133,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize the entire supply chain from raw material procurement to finished goods delivery.
- Manage inventory levels for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to minimize costs and prevent stockouts.
- Coordinate and manage all inbound and outbound transportation logistics, including freight carriers and shipping schedules.
- Direct warehouse operations, including storage, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure efficient material flow.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
- Implement and monitor logistics KPIs to drive continuous improvement in efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping regulations, customs procedures, and safety standards.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong understanding of global transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and import/export regulations.
- Proven ability to optimize logistics processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
Bonus Qualifications
- APICS CSCP or CLTD certification.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and/or WMS platforms.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for logistics optimization.
