Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a school setting located in Renton, WA. This contract position involves providing direct support to students with developmental disabilities to enhance their participation in the classroom. Working closely with the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team, you will contribute to goal development and offer ongoing support to meet the students needs.

Responsibilities include conducting evaluations and assessments of students experiencing speech, language, and communication disorders. This role requires onsite presence during standard school hours, totaling 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid SLP license for Washington State
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Educational Speech-Language Pathologist (ESA) Certification

Key Duties:

  • Provide specialized therapy and support tailored to students with developmental disabilities
  • Collaborate with the IEP team to develop, implement, and monitor individualized goals
  • Perform comprehensive assessments to identify communication challenges and progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations
