THE POSITION…
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will support assembly areas to determine the best manufacturing process with a strong emphasis on lean manufacturing principles, safety, quality and on-time delivery. You’ll serve the best customers from all over the world – from general, business and commercial aviation. To be successful in this role, you will need to collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing operations.

THIS POSITION MAY BE FOR YOU IF…
- You have a high school diploma or GED.
- You have a minimum two-year electronics degree or equivalent education, training and work experience.
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in advanced analog and digital electronics.
- You have knowledge of electro-mechanical assembly and manufacturing processes.
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office.
- You have strong attention to detail.
- You are organized, focused and results oriented.
- You are a problem-solver with critical thinking and prioritizing skills.
- You have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
WE WOULD REALLY LIKE IT IF… (but it’s not a deal breaker)
- You are certified in Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma.
- You have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM ONE DAY TO THE NEXT…
- Serve as technical liaison with engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements
- Partner with the quality team to establish and maintain quality procedures, including inspection and testing methods
- Perform root-cause analysis on product/process failures to recommend and implement corrective action to eliminate problems
- Maintain standardized work documentation
- Prioritize lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies to meet efficiency, productivity, quality, and reliability
