Position SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate, monitor, and maintain industrial machinery to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and able to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, including lathes, mills, presses, and other machinery.
- Ensure production goals and quality standards are consistently met.
- Perform routine equipment inspections, maintenance, and cleaning.
- Troubleshoot machine issues and report equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate production and maintenance records as required.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to improve production efficiency and workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1–2 years of experience operating industrial or manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, work instructions, and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience in automotive manufacturing or parts production.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with workplace safety regulations and procedures.
Working Conditions
- Manufacturing facility environment with exposure to machinery, noise, vibration, and moving equipment.
- Standing, walking, bending, lifting, and other physical activities may be required.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety training are provided.
