Starting Pay: $18 - $26/hour – based on experience

Project Bonuses – based on job profitability

Accrued Paid Time Off – 2 hours/week (equals about 2.5 weeks/year)

Job Description

Vogts Construction Company is looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team. We specialize in a wide variety of projects. The ideal candidate will have transportation and be willing to travel within up to a 60-mile radius. Most work is on-site, though we have a facility for prefab carpentry when the job calls for it. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Install both hollow metal and wood door frames.
  • Complete door and door hardware installations.
  • Wood framing of main building scopes.
  • Select and evaluate materials for defects
  • Install cabinets, counters and molding
  • Install all types of specialties items.

Carpenter Skills:

  • 3 + years' experience combined in finish & rough carpentry
  • Extensive knowledge of the use of power tools
  • Possession of basic hand tools and reliable transportation to job sites
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary to deliver the project on time
  • Capable of climbing on ladders and carrying at least 80 pounds.
