Located in Camden Wyoming, DE, this K-12 public school seeks experienced school psychologists to provide essential support to students across multiple schools in the district. This contract position begins ASAP and runs through June 9th, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week with caseloads of approximately 20 students each.
Ideal candidates will hold a valid Delaware School Psychologist license and have proven experience working with diverse K-12 populations. The role involves conducting psychological assessments, collaborating with educators and families, and developing individualized plans that support student success.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid DE School Psychologist licensure
- Experience conducting assessments and interventions across K-12 grade levels
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 20 students
- Strong knowledge of educational and psychological best practices
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with school staff and families
Responsibilities:
- Perform psychological evaluations and provide diagnostic insights
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support student needs
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and provide recommendations for interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation per school and district guidelines
