Emergency Medicine Physician – Duluth, MinnesotaPermanent | Multi-Site System | Level I Adult Trauma | Flexible SchedulingPosition Highlights:

• Main ED (Duluth):
• Annual volume: 42,000 patients
• Facility: Brand-new, state-of-the-art 40-bed ED
• Shifts: 8- and 9-hour shifts with double/triple physician coverage and APP support 7 days/week
• Admits to: 330-bed Level I Adult / Level II Peds Trauma Center
• Full-spectrum EM, including pediatrics

• Regional Sites:
• Locations: Aurora, Virginia, Moose Lake, Sandstone, Deer River (MN) & Superior (WI)
• Volumes: 3.5K–12K annually | All Level IV Trauma Centers
• Shift Structure:
• Virginia & Superior: 12-hour MD shifts + 12-hour APP support
• Aurora, Moose Lake, Sandstone, Deer River: Single-coverage 12- or 24-hour shifts (24s optional)
• Patients requiring higher-level care are transferred to DuluthSupport & Environment:
  • Collaborative specialist access: PICU/NICU, peds subspecialists, STEMI, neuro-intervention
  • Strong behavioral health resources: Psychiatry consults, safe rooms, social work, BHTs
  • Telemedicine support: Stroke, psychiatry, NICU, hospice, cardiology
  • Supportive culture with low nurse turnover and excellent staff collaboration
  • Opportunity to teach FM residents and med students, if interested
