Title: Demand Planning Manager

Location: St. Louis, MO


Summary:

Lead the demand planning function to ensure accurate forecasting and alignment between customer demand, inventory, production, and sales objectives. This highly collaborative role combines analytics, forecasting expertise, and strategic decision-making to drive supply chain performance, improve service levels, and support business growth.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Analytics, Data Science, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or a related field, including 2+ years in a leadership role
  • Experience with demand planning tools such as SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, or similar platforms
  • Advanced Excel, data visualization, and statistical forecasting skills
  • Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities
  • Preferred: APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent)


Physical Requirements:

  • Regular use of standard office equipment, including computers and phones
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods, up to 8 hours per day
  • Minimal physical activity required
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.


Essential Functions:

  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts across multiple products, markets, and time horizons
  • Analyze historical trends, market conditions, and customer insights to improve forecast accuracy
  • Lead the demand planning process within the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) framework
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to align demand assumptions and business objectives
  • Monitor forecast performance and key metrics, including forecast accuracy and bias, and provide actionable recommendations
  • Drive continuous improvement of forecasting processes, systems, and planning capabilities
  • Develop and distribute demand planning reports, dashboards, and business insights
  • Manage demand planning tools and data integrity, ensuring effective integration with ERP and supply chain systems
  • Lead software enhancements, upgrades, and implementation initiatives related to demand planning
  • Train and mentor team members on forecasting methodologies and best practices
  • Communicate risks, opportunities, and demand trends to stakeholders and leadership
  • Champion the Company's safety and quality programs
