Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Collections Specialist to manage B2B accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of outstanding balances for one of our clients in Peachtree Corners. This role requires strong communication skills, financial accuracy, and the ability to maintain positive client relationships while enforcing company credit policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Management: Handle a high-volume portfolio of business accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices.
- Client Communication: Negotiate payment arrangements professionally while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Credit Control: Monitor and enforce credit holds/releases based on account status and company policy.
- Account Reconciliation: Resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams to address billing issues and support resolution efforts.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of collection activities, communications, and payment statuses.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on collection performance and aging accounts.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of recent commercial/B2B collections experience.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite) and intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion, PeopleSoft, or other ERP systems.
