Job DescriptionASR is seeking an experienced Logistician for an exciting opportunity supporting the 59TES Flight Test Data Center (FTDC) flight line in instrumentation engineering, modifications, pre-flight processes, post-flight processes, and maintenance and troubleshooting enabling data collection operations on F-35s, F-22s, F-15Es, and F-16s utilizing unique instrumentation systems.
The Logistician supports the 59 TES by managing the supply chain and logistics for instrumentation systems and maintenance equipment. This role ensures timely availability and accountability of all materials required for flight test operations.
Responsibilities:
- Proficient in maintenance, transportation, and services operations, in support of aircraft modifications, daily ops, tool control, test equipment calibration (precision measurement equipment laboratory).
- Maintain inventory of instrumentation Group A/B hardware kits for accuracy.
- Coordinate procurement, receipt, and distribution of maintenance equipment and supplies.
- Maintain accurate records using logistics software and databases.
- Support transportation, calibration, and tool control operations.
- Conduct periodic inventories and ensure compliance with government property regulations.
- Prepare logistics requirements plan and reports, ILS Plans, Operational and Interim Support Plans, etc., as required.
- Responsible for monitoring, locating, and scheduling the movement and control of maintenance equipment as well as performing periodic inventories and utilizing computer programs to assure equipment records are complete and up to date.
- Responsible for the distribution of existing maintenance equipment to customers.
- Responsible to help customers with the procurement of maintenance equipment, parts and supplies.
- Responsible for receiving orders and equipment for Data Labs.
- Prepare, coordinate, and integrate the identification, development, acquisition and delivery of integrated logistics support requirements for systems or equipment.
- Assess all requirements necessary to coordinate ILS functions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Proficiency in inventory control systems and DoD logistics procedures.
- Experienced in controls of all stock and inventory control.
- Experienced in supporting logistical activities for flight test organization.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
- Clearance: SECRET (minimum).
- Qualified applicants must be able to pass a background check.
