Absaroka seeks a qualified Environmental Professional or Project Manager to support planning, regulatory reporting and multi-media environmental compliance projects specific to the oil and gas sector. The primary role of the successful applicant will be execute new and ongoing remediation projects in Colorado, including field work, remediation design, ECMC reporting, and other permitting and compliance related tasks. The selected employee will be expected to carry out any number of field, office, technical, administrative, health and safety, and managerial duties. Tasks that may be assigned are general related to planning, permitting, and compliance services performed on behalf of our clients, and included but are not limited to the following:
- Remediation and reclamation
- ECMC Form 19 and Form 27 preparation
- Regulatory reporting and compliance audits
- Oil and gas well and ROW permitting
- Baseline water quality
- Environmental constraints evaluations
- Resource surveys (wildlife, wetlands, vegetation, etc.)
- Water resource planning
- Storm water Pollution preventions
- Spill prevention, control, and countermeasures
- Phase I ESA
- Soil and water sampling
- ROW and facility location siting and engineering
- Air Quality Compliance

Absaroka will not assign tasks or duties to an employee that are significantly outside of the employee's experience, training, or capabilities.
Minimum Requirements
- BS in an appropriate and applicable field (environmental science, geology, engineering, water quality) required.
- 4 years of relevant professional experience required.
- Professional experience with soil and groundwater sampling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Regulatory reporting experience to the Colorado Energy & Carbon Management Commission (ECMC), specifically Form 19s and Form 27s.
Preferred Requirements
- Professional experience managing spill remediation projects and design.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and multitasking abilities.
