Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide specialized speech-language pathology services in North Highlands, CA, through travel assignments in school settings. This role focuses on evaluating, treating, and supporting pediatric and school-aged clients with speech and language disorders, ensuring progress and collaboration with educational teams and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students with speech and language challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with patient needs and goals.
- Lead therapy sessions aimed at improving communication skills and language development.
- Track and document patient progress accurately to inform care adjustments.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and other professionals to deliver coordinated care.
- Educate and involve families to support therapy outcomes and generalization of skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
