Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
- Demonstrated experience working with students with diverse learning needs, particularly in middle and high school settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and parents.
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Proficiency in using various teaching strategies and assistive technologies.
Location:Windsor, VT (In-person at a K-12 School)
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and adapt instructional materials and lesson plans aligned with IEP goals.
- Assess and monitor student progress, maintaining accurate records and documentation as required.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate comprehensive educational support.
- Create a positive and structured classroom environment conducive to learning and growth.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student needs and progress.
- Provide guidance and support to paraprofessionals and other staff working within the classroom.
