About Our Facility

Our organization operates as a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) that offers:

Position Overview: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

The PTA provides direct rehabilitation care in physical therapy to patients referred by a physician, under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT), in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational standards.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (ASPT)
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Participation in community health initiatives/projects as appropriate
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
  • Familiarity with practices, procedures, and regulations governing operations in post-acute care facilities
  • Ability to implement and interpret departmental programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures
  • Competency in areas including patient rights, safety, and sanitation
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of all proprietary and confidential information
  • Understanding and adherence to company policies, including those related to harassment and compliance
  • Demonstration of integrity and professionalism by following the organization’s Code of Conduct and completing required compliance training
  • Execution of physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising PT
  • Effective and accurate use of therapy software
  • Exemplary customer service and a positive demeanor towards patients
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language
