About Our Facility
Our organization operates as a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) that offers:

Position Overview: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
The PTA provides direct rehabilitation care in physical therapy to patients referred by a physician, under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT), in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (ASPT)
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
- Participation in community health initiatives/projects as appropriate
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Familiarity with practices, procedures, and regulations governing operations in post-acute care facilities
- Ability to implement and interpret departmental programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures
- Competency in areas including patient rights, safety, and sanitation
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of all proprietary and confidential information
- Understanding and adherence to company policies, including those related to harassment and compliance
- Demonstration of integrity and professionalism by following the organization’s Code of Conduct and completing required compliance training
- Execution of physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising PT
- Effective and accurate use of therapy software
- Exemplary customer service and a positive demeanor towards patients
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language
