Job Description
Work within the fragrance design and development sphere, supporting creative projects and initiatives. This role involves coordinating creative briefs, managing timelines, sourcing materials, and ensuring smooth project execution.
Responsibilities
- Provide backup support for compounding activities.
- Manage the queue of sample requests and projects.
- Organize and maintain the sample library.
- Coordinate with evaluators and perfumers to ensure timely sample preparation.
- Assist with shipping tasks when the shipping department is unavailable.
- Support the sales team with sample-related information and logistics.
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing sample-related inquiries and providing solutions.
Essential Skills
- Experience in compounding.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments.
- Experience in customer service and sales support.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Work Environment
This role is based in a lab/office connected to a warehouse and requires comfort with the strong smells of raw materials. The position operates on a first shift from Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Hackensack, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
