Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Minnetonka, Minnesota. In this role, you will contribute to vital accounting functions that support our daily operations and ensure financial accuracy. This position offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, leveraging your expertise to manage a variety of accounting tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision.
• Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
• Execute month-end closing procedures, including preparing and posting journal entries.
• Handle payroll operations to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation.
• Maintain and update the general ledger to reflect current financial information.
• Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to perform various tasks.
• Monitor customer accounts and resolve discrepancies or issues as needed.
• Assist in managing and maintaining accurate customer credit records.• Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Strong experience with bank reconciliations and general ledger management.
• Familiarity with month-end close procedures and journal entry preparation.
• Skilled in using accounting software including NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.
• Solid understanding of payroll functions and related processes.
• Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills to ensure financial accuracy.
• Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies in customer accounts.
• Knowledge of credit management practices and maintaining accurate records.
