Position Summary

The Sales Manager will support the development and execution of the hotel’s total sales effort, including securing new accounts, maintaining existing relationships, and driving revenue growth across key market segments.

This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional with a proven track record of achieving goals and a passion for relationship-building, with the opportunity to grow into a senior leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business and maintain existing accounts to maximize hotel revenue
  • Execute sales strategies to support overall hotel profitability
  • Conduct outside sales calls, site visits, and networking within the local market
  • Respond to RFPs, negotiate rates, and secure contracts
  • Collaborate with the General Manager on hotel-level business planning, including sales goals and strategies
  • Support and mentor team members through coaching and shared best practices
  • Track and manage sales activities using CRM systems
  • Represent the hotel at community and industry events

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hotel experience preferred
  • Hotel Sales Experience a plus
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Leadership potential with an interest in mentoring and team development
  • Experience with Hilton systems (OnQ, RFP platforms) is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred
