The Financial Analyst position at KWRI is a critical role that contributes significantly to our organization's financial health. The Analyst will partner with various teams across our business to provide financial and strategic analysis, projections, and recommendations to help drive our business's performance and growth.
Responsibilities
- Clocking in regular financial analysis on current and future financial plans and forecasts; The aim is to understand and communicate the impact on the business.
- Partnering with different business units to prepare budgets and consolidate them for corporate reporting purposes.
- Executing, monitoring, and managing financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans.
- Advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and prepare forecasts for projects.
- Providing insights to senior management team around financial modeling, forecasts and profitability.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field is required. An MBA or advanced degree in finance would be an advantage.
- Must have at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role or capacity, ideally within a fast-paced, agile corporate environment.
- Outstanding Excel skills (knowledge of financial forecasting, modeling, advanced formulas, pivot tables etc).
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to distill complex information into easily understandable terms are required.
- Must be a problem solver at heart and be able to identify problems and propose viable solutions.
