Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed CPA / Senior Bookkeeper to serve as a core member of our finance and operations team. This role will manage day-to-day accounting and financial reporting across multiple entities and asset classes while supporting leadership with clean, reliable financial data for strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment, and excited to grow alongside a diversified family office and operating business.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate books for multiple operating companies and holding entities, including hotels, retail locations, real estate assets, and investment vehicles
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly transaction recording and account reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, and cash flow tracking
- Oversee payroll coordination and expense reporting
Financial Reporting & Controls
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Maintain strong internal controls and documentation across all entities
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for leadership review
- Assist with lender, investor, and third-party reporting as needed
Systems & Process Management
- Manage and optimize QuickBooks across all entities
- Utilize or implement M3 Accounting (hotel accounting system) where applicable
- Assist in building standardized chart of accounts and reporting structures across asset classes
- Improve workflows for scalability as the portfolio grows
Compliance & Support
- Assist with tax preparation coordination and work with external CPAs and advisors
- Support audits, due diligence requests, and regulatory filings
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
Qualifications
- Active CPA License (Required)
- Minimum 3 years of professional accounting or bookkeeping experience
- High proficiency in QuickBooks (Required)
- Experience with M3 Accounting (Preferred – training available)
- Experience working with multi-entity structures, real estate, hospitality, or family office environments preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial controls
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive financial information
