Addison Group is partnering with a professional services organization in Washington, DC seeking an experienced Office Manager. This role serves as the primary point of contact for office operations, supporting daily workflows, facilities management, and administrative procedures in a hybrid work environment.
Job Description:
The Office Manager will oversee day-to-day office operations, manage administrative services, coordinate with vendors, and act as a liaison between senior leadership and administrative staff. This role also involves managing projects related to office setups, lobby management, and company-wide meetings to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage office operations and procedures, including administrative services, facilities, supplies, and vendor relations.
- Serve as the primary contact for building security.
- Oversee supply ordering and general upkeep of the office.
- Act as Project Manager for specific initiatives such as office setups, lobby management, and company-wide meetings.
- Organize office workflow by scheduling and coordinating staff, communicating essential information, and planning meetings and events with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage front desk phone lines and ensure proper communication and call forwarding.
- Serve as a liaison between senior management and administrative personnel to ensure both leaders and staff have the support and resources needed for smooth office operations.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of office management experience, ideally within a consulting firm or professional services setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Experience with a building ticketing system preferred.
- Experience with managing an office move preferred.
- Strong communicator with a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented approach.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
