Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in New Bedford, MA within a K-12 school setting. This contract position offers the chance to work with a dynamic caseload across grade levels, providing specialized speech and language support to students.

Key qualifications include:

  • Must hold a current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Massachusetts
  • Possession of a valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) teaching certificate is required
  • Experience working as an SLP within school environments, particularly with K-12 populations
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills for a variety of speech and language disorders

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with identified needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student evaluations
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with state and district regulations
  • Participate in meetings, screenings, and other related duties as assigned
