What we're looking for:
- An individual who can effectively communicate how Employer Sponsored Health & Welfare Benefits work (e.g., Health, Dental, Vision, Life and AD&D, Disability, etc.).
- An individual with experience working with small to mid-market employer groups.
- An individual with experience configuring and maintaining Benefit-Administration systems (e.g., Employee Navigator, Ease, ADP, Rippling, Gusto, Workday, Paylocity, Paycom, etc.).
- An individual with experience reading carrier source materials (e.g., SBC, Certificate of Insurance, Carrier summary, and contracts).
- An individual with an understanding of Health & Welfare, COBRA, and Section 125 compliance rules and regulations.
- An individual with knowledge of Pre-Tax Benefits (e.g., FSAs, HSAs, HRAs, and Commuter Benefits).
- An individual with data entry experience.
- An individual with experience interfacing with client contacts by phone and email.
- An individual with experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce).
- An individual with strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy in all aspects of benefits administration.
- An individual with analytical prowess, capable of identifying process improvements and addressing operational inefficiencies.
- An individual who is adaptable and continuously seeks to stay updated with evolving industry regulations and system innovations.
- An individual with technical proficiency who leverages digital tools to enhance client support and internal operations.
- An individual with excellent interpersonal skills who collaborates seamlessly with internal teams to support our client-centric framework.

Job Responsibilities
- Tactical Support: Deliver key tactical outcomes in support of client accounts.
- Daily Account Ownership: Manage daily activities that underpin our client-facing solutions.
- Client Interfacing: Communicate effectively with customer contacts, active employees, and COBRA-qualified beneficiaries by phone and email.
- Administrative Excellence: Perform critical administrative tasks tailored to each client’s needs (e.g., census creation, document customization, DP imputed income worksheet, OE packets, etc.).
- Carrier Materials Management: Obtain, integrate, and post carrier materials, including SBC, CBS, and enrollment/change forms.
- Data Accuracy: Resolve benefits file feed discrepancies.
- System Setup: Establish new clients, plans, carrier information, and rates within our database.
- Material Creation: Create and maintain employee-facing materials (e.g., summary of benefits).
- Documentation: Complete implementation and renewal spreadsheets while keeping databases current.
- Quality Assurance: Provide backup proofreading and document review.
- System Support: Ensure the Benefit Administration/HRIS system is updated and accurate.
- HR Administration: Provide additional HR administrative support as needed.
- Continuous Learning: Show consistent growth in industry knowledge.
- CRM Utilization: Effectively use our Customer Service Management (CRM) system to track service and maintain client information.
- Performance: Meet or exceed all established performance standards.
- Process Improvement: Proactively identify and implement workflow enhancements that drive efficiency and improve overall service quality.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work proactively and independently.
- Comfortable and confident using a camera for virtual meetings.
- Minimum typing speed of 45 WPM.
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed.
- 1+ year of relevant experience.
- Health, Life, Accident Insurance Producer license preferred (required within 60 days of start).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 apps (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Dynamics CRM) is a plus.
- Familiarity with common industry software (e.g., Employee Navigator, Ease, ADP, Rippling, Gusto, Workday, Paylocity, Paycom, and Wex) is a plus.
- Ability to travel for client-facing and internal commitments.
