Location: Bellaire, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Start Date: 05/04/2026
Job Type: 13-Week Contract (Potential for Permanent Hire)
About the Role
We are seeking a Bilingual Call Center Representative (English/Spanish) to join a leading pediatric healthcare organization. This role is ideal for candidates with strong customer service skills who are passionate about helping patients and providers navigate healthcare services. You will serve as the first point of contact, assisting with inquiries related to eligibility, benefits, claims, referrals, and appointment scheduling while delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls from members and healthcare providers
- Research and resolve customer inquiries and issues
- Assist with appointment scheduling and general support
- Act as an advocate for members and providers
- Accurately document interactions in internal systems
- Ensure HIPAA compliance by verifying caller identity
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve concerns
Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) – Required
- Minimum 1 year of call center or customer service experience (healthcare or insurance preferred)
- Medicaid experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and typing speed of 35+ WPM
- High School Diploma or GED required
Preferred Experience
- Managed care or medical insurance experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology
