Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time special education teaching opportunity is available in Billings, MT, serving students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract position begins ASAP and continues through the end of the school year, with a K-12 caseload reflecting a diverse range of student needs and grade levels.

Responsibilities include implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), adapting instructional materials, collaborating with general education teachers, and providing direct support to students with special needs across elementary, middle, and high school grades. The role requires expertise in managing special education classrooms and tailoring educational strategies to meet varied developmental and academic requirements.

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Previous teaching experience in special education for grades K-12
• Familiarity with grade levels including 1st through 12th grades, with ability to serve elementary, middle, and high school students
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs and individualized instruction plans
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff
• Flexibility to handle both part-time and full-time responsibilities as required
