We are seeking a reliable and organized Office Assistant to support daily operations at our garage door service company. This role is essential in coordinating schedules, assisting customers, and keeping office operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails in a professional, friendly manner
- Schedule service appointments and coordinate with technicians
- Enter and update customer information, invoices, and work orders
- Assist with billing, payments, and basic bookkeeping tasks
- Order office supplies and help maintain inventory records
- Communicate job details, changes, and updates to technicians and customers
- Maintain organized digital and paper filing systems
- Support management with general administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous office or administrative experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, invoicing software)
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Professional phone etiquette
- Experience in a construction, home service, or garage door company is a plus
Work Schedule:
- Full-time
- Monday–Friday (with occasional flexibility as needed)
