Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Physical Therapist providing specialized services within a K-12 educational setting. The position is based in Ballwin, MO, and offers a school-year contract working two days per week with flexible scheduling options.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy services to students ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade.
  • Manage and support a caseload of approximately 30 students receiving varying frequencies of therapy (weekly, monthly).
  • Conduct consultation services for additional students on a monthly or quarterly basis.
  • Assume supervisory responsibilities for the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), who will be on maternity leave at the start of the year, which may temporarily increase workload.
  • Collaborate with school personnel and families to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
  • Maintain prehensive and up-to-date documentation for all therapy services provided.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist with experience working in school-based healthcare environments.
  • Proven ability to manage a diverse client load spanning early childhood to high school students.
  • Strong supervisory skills and ability to oversee PTA activities.
  • Excellent munication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and families.
  • Flexibility to acmodate a part-time schedule with potential workload fluctuations.

Location:

  • Ballwin, Missouri serving students across the district within the K-12 range.
